May 10, 2011, Charles Tibury, Jr., Chief Deputy Auditor for Clermont County, spoke to the Bethel Tea Party about Clermont County Finances.
February 2011 Bethel Tea Party meeting included speakers Jeff Hardin, State School Board Representative, Mark Rose, Bethel-Tate School Board, and Ken Morrison, Superintendent of Grant Career Center. They provided information on the role each entity has in school governance, its authority, funding sources, and how citizens can become involved. State and Local School Boards

At the February and March meetings of the Clermont County Tea Party, videos were shown from several channel 12 programs by Jeff Hirsh, detailing how millions of dollars have been spent/mismanaged in Union Township by the Trustees. The first of these programs was first aired February 1, 2009. The video was shown at the Tea Party meeting to help us see the importance of attending county and township commissioner/trustee meetings to keep ourselves informed about what is happening in our area. A former Union Township Trustee and Administrator has been indicted on his involvement in passing contracts to his son’s engineering business. This was the topic of the second Channel 12 video we watched at one of the Clermont County Tea Party meetings.
